LIC Agent Commission Structure (As of 2025)

  • First-Year Commission: 28% of the first-year premium (reduced from 35% in 2024) 
  • Bonus Commission: On top of the 28%, you can earn up to 40% of that amount based on performance .

  • Years 2 & 3: 7.5% of the premium paid in each year — steady, recurring earnings.

  • Year 4 Onwards: 5% renewal commission each year, provided the policy remains active.

📈 Long-Term Earnings & Legacy

  • Your annual renewal commissions grow as long as your clients maintain their policies — generating a steady income stream for 20–25 years.

  • In the event of your untimely demise, these renewal commissions continue, ensuring financial protection for your family.

Gratuity

LIC Agents are rewarded not just during their career, but even after retirement.

  • 🎉 Gratuity is payable at age 60, provided the agent has completed a minimum of 15 years of continuous service.

  • 💰 The maximum gratuity amount currently payable is ₹2,00,000, subject to the agent’s total renewal commission earnings.
